30 minute sessions taking place after the University talks with a focus on technical tools and APIs.
Hackergartens are a great place to meet new people, have fun, and improve the lives of developers around the world one patch at a time; provided you're willing to bring your laptop and get your hands dirty. Write a plugin, a tutorial, a small feature, or a bug fix for a project that interests you alongside several open-source experts willing to share their knowledge.
Practical hands-on sessions of 3 hours (in the BOF rooms) with maximum of 60 people per room.
Conference talks (one hour technical presentations) start on Wednesday till Friday.
Conference attendees can also attend Quickies, BOFs and hands-on Lab sessions from Wednesday til Friday.
Ignite is the name for a particular type of event that is held throughout the world—organized by volunteers—at which participants speak about their ideas and personal or professional passions according to a specific format. The presentations are meant to “ignite” the audience on a subject, whereby awareness, thought, and action are generated on the subjects presented.
15 minute sessions during the lunch breaks.
Informal evening sessions of 1 hour with maximum 70 people per room.
